Dear Liu,
Here is the design feedback on the drawings sent in to CPL for the Handle and Cover and Enclosure are as follows:
Handle Tool:
 Mold base size is ok so steel can be ordered.
 The part model used on his layout is the old version, the new version was sent last week on the 15th via e-mail. Please ensure he uses that file (I have attached it again to this e-mail for clarity.
o The new file eliminates the 2 slides on the side of the handle at the top end (where the slide pulls off on the angle end)
o The new part is approximately 0.056” longer
 The screws holding the gibs in for the end slide that moves on the angle appear small, can we increase.
 Change the Location ring to a flange type to allow a Dia 3.25” hole to go into the tool inset the sprue bushing to eliminate the long sprue. We need this hole to get the extended nozzle in with a heater on.
 As this part is molded in Noryl, the tool needs to run at high temperature, so oil is needed not water. All “O” Seals need to be eliminated and oil lines need to be connected via hard piping to the connectors (I will get the connector specs later this week for you).
 Insulation plates are required on both clamp plates.
 Change gate to a diaphragm gate in the current gate location.
 Remove the Sprue puller pin from the mold. Sprue will pull out with the part. In its place we need a large bubbler for oil to go up the core.
 We will require a custom wire cut sleeve to go around the profile of the bottom of the part, Rough Sketch attached. Current design will not work.
Enclosure & Cover:
o Mold Base is ok steel can be ordered.
o Part model for Enclosure is outdated per my comments when the file was sent last week. I have attached the new files for both parts to this e-mail please ensure these is used, so we ensure all latest files are being used.
o Per my comments last week on the cover gates, we require 4 drops similar to the housing. Concentricity of the center bore is very critical.
o Sprue bushing needs to be changed to the shorter 3, plate version so we have very little sprue to prevent hang up when the tool is running.
o Core pins need to be held in place in the clamp plates with plates not as shown.

17.EJECTOR PIN, PARTING LINE, AND GATE LOCATIONS MUST BE APPROVED BY LOGITECH DESIGN
ENGINEERING PRIOR TO MOLD FABRICATION. EJECTOR PIN MARKS TO BE FLUSH TO 0.1 DEPRESSED, AND 0.10 FLASH IS ALLOWED.
