We are mechanical engineers, mechanical skill is much more important than English. Even working in foreign company, our communication with foreigners more bases on professional knowledge than pure language: English. In other words, professional skill is the best communication tool. It is like 马布里，the basketball player in BeiJing club, who is from USA, but he can get well along with Chinese players.
On the other hand, English learning mainly depends on self-teaching, we can easily find excellent English teachers on internet.
I am a mechanical engineer, also work in a foreign company. According to my experience, English value is limited for a technical engineer.
